I went diving for 3 days (6 dives) with Planet Scuba and Samui International Diving School based in Chaweng Beach. There is no real diving around Koh Samui itself so we travelled north up past Koh Pha Ngan to the diving capital of Asia which is Koh Tao. We had two days on MV Waverunner and dived Hin Won Bay, Hin Dang (Red Rock), Mango Bay and Hin Kian (Green Rock).

The diving we did around Koh Tao was fairly easy with some reef fish, a few blue spotted ray, banded sea snake, huge trigger fish with nests and of course the bait ball of fusiliers in Mango Bay. Truly awesome! We had great swim-throughs on most dives especially on Green Rock.

But the best diving was to be had away from the main islands at Sail Rock ......
