A repeat of the highly successful 2006 live aboard trip on the Pamela P owned and expertly skippered by Fred Buckingham. Thanks to Dan and Kate for another great weekend! 

On the Friday the ten of us drove from all corners of the UK and descending upon Penzance to leave at 5pm sharp. Or we would have done until Bennet discovered that he had forgotten his sleeping bag. Off to Millets he went and we eventually get under way. The crossing to the Isles of Scillies was rough. A few of us saw again the sweets and fizzy drinks we had consumed in the car on the way down. 

Oh my God. What a bunch.

We arrived in Hugh Town, St Mary's too late for dinner at The Mermaid and other pubs so we raided the local Co-op for sandwiches and pork pies. Then we returned to The Mermaid (great pub!) and had a picnic in the new bar downstairs. The barmaid even used the coffee maker to put hot water in Nathan's Pot Noodle! Great service.
