Chris and I had 6 days guided diving and James, Brian and Scott
had their AOW course followed by 4 days diving. We did 8 dives in the Strait of
Tiran diving on Jackson, Thomas and Woodhouse Reefs. Great diving as especially
at the beginning of the week we had a full moon so that current was really
pulling us along those walls!

We did a few local dive sites including one of Karim's
favourites Ras Ghamila and Shark's Bay itself which was our location for the
night dive from the boy's AOW course. Tuesday night saw us lighting up the Bay with
our Kowalski's and scaring all the fish. We did see numerous rays, cuttle fish,
lobster and shrimp, a sea snake of some description and numerous lion fish of
course.
Of course we went into Ras Mohammed too and dived Shark Reef and
Yolanda Reef twice and Jackfish Alley. My God, they were awesome dives.

On the Thursday night we have dinner and then went
aboard Freedom V and got to sleep around 11pm. At 2am the engines started and we
were off back to Ras Mohammed to dive The Thistlegorm. Our early start ensured
that we arrived at the dive site very early in the morning and could get both
dives done before the majority of the day boats from Sharm got there. We were
the third boat there at 7am and joined another Freedom liveaboard and the famous
Whirlwind!
Breakfast was followed by our first dive on the Thistlegorm
