June saw another visit by Aquanaut Dive Club back to Swanage, Dorset. Thanks
again to Pat at Divers Down on
Swanage Pier for looking after us. We were on Smooth Hound with Dave on the
Saturday and with Peter on Swanage Diver on the Sunday. On the first day we did
an amazing dive on The Aeolian
Sky followed by one of the fastest drift dives I have ever done! Must have
been a least 4 knots .... or maybe it was 14? After a great night out when most
people were drinking orange juice and were in bed by 10pm we did an early drift
on Sunday morning. It was a bit rough. Half the crew did a bimble under the pier
as a second dive where a few hardy souls ventured out again with Peter and has
an amazing dive on The
Kyarra. The visibility was awesome - we were hugely rewarded for our very
very rough trip out and back.
Smooth Hound and Swanage Diver
prepare to take us out.
